2009 is finally here!

Well, I have been working like a crazy person (ok those of you who actually know me IRL can stop laughing now). I have decided that I am making very few resolutions this year, but am here to publicly state the ones related to knitting....

  • I will finish the Mystery Shawl. (I'm actually 3/4 of the way through clue 4.) The colors may be a little obnoxious to others but I love them.
  • I will finish the Lift and Seperate sweater (or as a friend of mine calls it "The Slut Sweater") from "Big Girl Knits". All the pieces are done, except for the ties, which can't be done until the sweater is sewn together. Now I just have to overcome my fear of sewing seams....
  • Finish the Sideways Sweater that I got from my former LYS (and fav. hangout). Shoulder seams, sleeves, and edging is all that is left on this (well, and the fact that I might need to buy some more yarn for this, but I'm not sure yet...)
There will be pictures to come for these things I promise. I'm also continuing to knit socks for myself. I also finished a couple of cowls for myself and a fabulous pair of mittens (that only took about a year)--but I managed to teach myself how to knit a 2 color design with one color in each hand, I'm just not very fast that way.

Promise, pictures soon....stay tuned!!
